Cool! Thank you. Now if I could just get the rest of the Kurt POV from KC.... If he's reading this, I think there's something wrong on your end of the line. As far as I can tell, I should of gotten it, but didn't. Very weird.

Here we go for some more elfin fun...
Alyza and Steven Woodbine entered the lab with its rows of caged mice. Her eyes sweeping over the room, a small, secret smile played over her lips as her eyes lit on the air vent. She strode across to the monitor and booted up the computer. Turning back to her associate, she allowed her eyes to slide up him, appraisingly.
"His form doesn't suit you."
The tall man shrugged and pulled up a stool, dropping into a back-cracking slouch atop it.
"I just can't believe it worked. This is a brilliant idea, leibchen, unless Steve-o really does show up."
"Not likely, that bastard hasn't been in since the day we found you," her eyes took on a cold cast. "I hope he quits, the bigot."
"'Lyza," Kurt rose from the stool, catching her hands with his customary grace. "I just wanted to thank you again for your help, for everything."
Alyza ran her thumbs over the backs of his hands, feeling the fine fuzz that covered them, and smiled.
He shifted his weight uncomfortably. "I have been thinking about last night-"
She raised her hand to his face, freeing her index finger, she placed it over his lips. "Shhh... there is no need." Their eyes locked briefly in silent understanding. "I can access the top-secret files from here but the true top-secret files, the black files, can only be reached in that room." She pulled her hands free and pointed at a small, inconspicious room on the fire exit diagram on the wall.
"That? My scematics say that's a storage closet!"
"That's what everyone thinks, but I used to work there, before the hanta virus was disregarded as a national security threat. Or as a potential biological weapon."
"I can 'port us there. Do we need biohazard suits?"
"It wouldn't be a bad idea. Especially for you, if what you think what is here really is."
****************
"Verruct thing!" Kurt tapped in the code on the vault door one more time. He always had to be careful, his fingers could easily hit two keys at once if he was the slightest bit off. The constrictive biohazard suit he wore didn't help matters. "There!"
The door slid open with a hiss of air. The virus sample was in the back, to the right, Alyza had said, No. 10462. She was in the main room of this little secret lab, searching the computer for files on Legacy research. Long row upon long row of samples locked in airtight little cubicles greeted him as he stepped inside.
"Oh, boy."
He had been reading numbers on cubicles for just a few minutes when something made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. He looked down one of the side rows and saw a female figure in a biohazard suit slinking towards the door from the back of the vault.
"Alyza?" She started when she heard his voice and stopped in her tracks. Slowly she turned her face to his.
"Nightcrawler."
"What are you doing in here?"
"Ah, I was just checking something, I'll be out there."
"Okay..." He watched her exit the vault without a backward glance. Something itched between his shoulder blades. Shrugging it off, he returned to his search.
**************
"Mein Gott...Alyza!"
Her footfalls were muffled by the environmental suit shrouding his ears. Sliding to a halt beside him, she gasped at the cold steel shelf labeled "Legacy virus - live sample."
"It's gone..."
He spun to face her. Steves's eyes narrowed with new suspicion.
She looked from the cubicle to his face, a frown forming between her black brows. "What?"
"You were in here," he grabbed her upper arm, her suit crinkled in protest as she felt his thick fingers dig into her flesh. "Why? Do you have it now?" His voice dropped dangerously low, his breath fogging the faceplate of his suit. "Tell me."
"What are you talking about?" Her eyes went wide with confusion and not a little fear. "I was never in here... Kurt, you're hurting me."
His head cocking to the side, he searched her face. With a pang of guilt, his fingers loosened their grip.
"You really don't know..."
She snatched her arm away from him. Anger quickly replacing her fear, she rubbed absently aboce her elbow.
"You saw me!" Her brow furrowed again. "How did you get back in here?"
"I never left..." His eyes suddenly refocused on her face. "Wait... you saw me out there? Where did I go?"
"I don't know, you said you'd be right back."
"Oh, no. Oh, dear God, not her."
"Who? What are you talking about?" She reached out to him, her eyes suddenly full of concern. "Are you okay?"
"I'll explain later," his hands clamped over her arms. "We've got to go after her! Hold on."
They were gone in the blink of an eye.
It's drawing to the end...what will happen next???

Happy happy fanfiction. Aaaah. *leans back* I'd talk about how it's better then anything Marvel's been putting out, but you already knew that. And my memory of exactly what Marvel does has finally began to fade.

Okay, I'll make this brief. Slarti, GREAT piece of work. You leave me hanging with each installment. I can't think of anyhing to improve on it, other than to stop keeping me from looking for an end with each part.
Again, involving story. Absolutely fantastic!

My. You're good! I've avoided reading any fanfic so far, because my english just isn't good enough and it takes to much effort to read a story comfortably in english...But this was really gripping, and a very fun read indeed! Keep this stuff coming, please!
wow. this is my 100th post! (finally) that's Elwing for you: not fast, but consistent...
